The Factory Floor Newsletter - May

300 old friends get together to relive their youth, and remember what made them the people they are today. 150 people laugh their heads off at a play. A dozen crew and band members put in a ten hour day shooting a video. Two people sit down with guitars, and one teaches the other their first few chords.

That was last weekend, just one weekend in the life of Flint Local 432. Week in and week out, year after year for four decades, the Local has been a spot where folks come together. We're still here because you've been here for us. Now we're asking if you'll step up one more time. Fundraisers measure two things - how much people can give, and just as importantly, how many people care enough to donate. Hitting the link and giving just $5 would mean so much to us.

Have we mentioned lately how much we love Ed Shields, one of our original makerspace volunteers? He recently had a hip replaced, and the next day was in his workshop making a classic toy chest for one of his grandkids! Heal up quick Ed, we miss you.
