Member & Shop Policies

Memberships are personal and non-transferable. You may not share your access credentials or keyfob.

Members must maintain a valid payment method on file. Memberships lapse if payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days.

Month-to-month memberships may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Annual memberships are non-refundable after the first 30 days.

Factory Two may revoke membership at any time for policy violations, with or without refund at our discretion.

Members must complete a shop orientation before using equipment unsupervised. Certified equipment requires documented certification.

All equipment use must be reserved in advance through the member portal. Walk-up use is available only when equipment is visibly unscheduled.

Cancel reservations you cannot keep at least 1 hour in advance. Repeated no-shows may result in booking restrictions.

Clean up after every session. Leave equipment in the same or better condition than you found it. Report damage immediately.

Do not modify, adjust, or recalibrate equipment without staff approval. If something seems off, ask — don't guess.

Consumables (bits, blades, filament, adhesive, etc.) are either provided by the member or purchased through Factory Two. Check with staff before using shop stock.

Equipment may not be used for commercial production without a commercial use agreement. Contact us for details.

Personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves as appropriate) is required for all shop activity. PPE is available in the space.

No one works alone on power tools. At least one other person must be present in the building when using machinery.

Alcohol and controlled substances are prohibited in the shop at all times. Impaired individuals will be asked to leave immediately.

Open-toe shoes, loose clothing, and dangling jewelry are prohibited near rotating machinery.

Know the locations of fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency exits before you begin work.

Members may bring guests for observation and socializing; guests may not operate equipment unless they hold an active membership or guest pass.

Guest passes grant temporary access as described on the pass card. Passes are single-use and non-transferable.

Members are responsible for the behavior of their guests at all times.

Minors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

Factory Two is an inclusive space. Harassment, discrimination, or hostility based on race, gender, age, sexuality, religion, disability, or any other characteristic will result in immediate removal.

Be respectful of shared space and other members' projects. Do not touch or move another member's work without permission.

Keep noise to a reasonable level, especially during classes or events. Coordinate with staff for loud work during busy periods.

Political campaign activity and solicitation are not permitted without prior approval from Factory Two leadership.

Temporary project storage is available in designated areas. Items left without a storage agreement may be moved or disposed of after 7 days.

Long-term storage is available to members with an active storage add-on. Contact us to arrange.

Factory Two is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings or stored projects.
